Lacey Apache Due April 6th, 2006.

Ok so here is a little information on our Lacey. We just brought her home about a month ago from Eastern Washington. She is bred to Sanctuary (TB) who is out of Halo. Sanctuary is double black gene tested and about 17hh.

Lacey is out of a AQHA mare Rios Star Dutette (back to The Continental) and she is by Airdrie Apache. He is registered both JC and APHA (because he is colored), and is a great producer of colored/white Thoroughbreds See photos of her sire and the stallion she is in foal to at www.painteddesert.net.

Lacey is almost 8 years old and this will be her 4th foal. She began bagging a bit 2 weeks ago but is not showing any signs other than that. Yes, she is one of those girls that you never know they are pregnant till the day they pop .

Lacey is not at our farm as of yet since our barn is beginning construction this month (new location) and so you will see different people in and out of her stall daily. Ginger is the great friend who let me "steal" a stall for this and I would be lost with out her, she is the feeder of breakfast and dinner, I just get to clean the stall and play with her. You may see my daughter with me from time to time while cleaning and doing daily chores for Lacey as she loves horses and thinks they all belong here for her enjoyment only.

At this time the foal is already spoken for, and they are hoping for a minimally colored colt, let's keep our fingers crossed for them.

We will be creating a forum just for our Hotrod don't you worry ;D. Kids and family just won't let me sit infront of this computer for the rest of my life ya know? Oh, and I need someone to run the camera to get some current photos of him, know any one??? hint hint, oh yeah and he IS NOT SPOILED...lol.
