Hi there, My name is Lori, and along with my son, age 13 and my daughter, age 10 AND a not so involved husband Gary, we own Bentleys Paints and Quarter Horses. We live about 45 minutes north of Seattle in the lovely evergreen state. We currently have 3 horses, our paint stallion Color To Impress along with 2 AQHA mares. We just purchased a 3rd AQHA mare that we are very excited about and should have her in 1, maybe 2 weeks. We do not have any foals due in 2007 as we focused on just our older mare which we did get bred the first cycle but in July when re-checked she had lost it. So, we will try again in the spring, but this time we will be breeding all 3! I can't wait to have some of our own babies to put in the show pen!!! We also have 2 dogs, Angus an ACD, and a mutt named April, 2 hamsters and a bird named Mango. It will be fun meeting everyone else on this board.... I sure have enjoyed visiting with Amanda. Thanks, Lori

I guess I am the late comer! My name is Kim and I no nothing about horses. I have probably known Amanda the longest though! I have known her for I think 23 years or something crazy like that. I live in AZ, and no my skin has not melted off yet. In fact the while Amanda talks about freezing temps, I am sitting on my porch outside enjoying the weather, so ha! j/k! Anyways, I have been married to Jason Barnes for 7 1/2 years and we have a beautiful daugther, Jovee who is almost 18 months old. I hope to talk to more of you and maybe I will get to know more about horses:)

Thanks for a wonderful day Sunday, seeing all the new additions to the farm. I don't know which one I liked more, Juicy Steak your new calf, Nitro the new stud muffin, or the kids. I've known you for so long and am so proud of what you and hubby Shane have accomplished and continue to accomplish every day. Iwant to come back and help around the farm, I came home with such a lift in my steps and joy in my heart, so thank you sweety for making me a part of your life.

Hello all!! Just saw this thread, even tho I've been a member for awhile now. I've been around horses almost my whole life, I love horses & being around them. My parents sold my QH mare in '99 & since then I had been without horses in my life. But in Jan. '07 I purchased a gray QH colt. His name is Nu Dusty Hanthingy he is a yearling. Hopefully when he's old enuff I can have him trained for roping or cuttin...who knows...he definitely bred to cow. I live in North East Texas, where is gits pretty HOT & HUMID!!! Other than that I love TX!!! Congrats on the new colt, he's a beauty!! And I like his name!!
